Gosh, I’m so not good at this. I want to be, need to be. This is a great perspective on how to think about it all in the moment, as the bigger picture. Going to remember this next time!! Thank you 😌
That’s one of many reasons I home school. I wanna be the one teaching my daughter things. And being a part of her aha moments. Really, just being a part of everything I can.
Darius Rucker was right when he said “it won’t be like this for long”.
You are not lying!!! We just started a co-op today, so we will be getting to go out and do more fun stuff. I wish I would have started it earlier, but maybe we were meant to be in this one which is why I never felt the need to before.

Thanks for the comment! The amount of slow breathing and hands in my pockets is strictly related to how much I want to jump in!
Hahaha true - Maybe that’s my problem. Women’s pants don’t often have pockets!
Making mistakes is part of learning to become to better version of yourself.
Thanks for the comment, and totally agree!
Normalizing mistakes as a part of the learning process is so important for kids that helps them later in life.
Great message here, love it.

That’s it right there!
Being close enough to catch the aha instead of outsourcing the moments you’ll never get back.
“It won’t be like this for long” hits harder once you’re living it instead of just singing along.

I loved reading this so much. This part, "FAIL: First Attempt In Learning" is brilliant. That is going to stick with me.
That is awesome to hear! It real does help normalize failure as learning instead of failure as indictment of someone.
